PUSH THROUGH THE MURKY DARKNESS TOWARD THE LIGHT
Follow the rabbit hole on the above blue link subtitle to my recent enlightenment journey via internet research and local observations.
Meanwhile, I finally finished fixing my MX-3 transmission. To recap, on March 26th, a black Range Rover had backed into my car at a very busy parking lot, in front of Trader Joe's. I was very careful and vigilant, watching my surroundings because I had noticed earlier, when I first arrived, before I entered the grocery store that the area was busier than usual. There was also a draining energy, due to the Spiritual War, trying to push me back and slow me down, which I now feel it was positive for me in this case because I was slower than usual, waiting in my car for a while before backing out from my space very slowly. It was also obvious that the Range Rover had backed out fast because I I felt a sudden thud against the back of my MX-3, it felt like a sudden shock, like a WTF moment. I opened my door and got out of my car immediately. I noticed I barely had backed out from my space, while the Range Rover quickly drove back into his parking space, which was on the other side and to the right of my car. the couple appeared to be in their late 30s, and they quickly got out and walked to the right back end of their car to stare down at the back right corner of their black car. I just stood their quietly. The man came to my car too a snapshot of my back bumper, which was scratched. We both took snapshot of each other's insurance card. I didn't go near their car to take a snapshot of their back right corner. I just remained by my car, and I didn't really say much. He said, "My insurance agent will car yours." And, I just agreed. That night, I filed a claim with AAA on the internet. The next morning, my agent called, and I explained what had happened. She asked if my car is leaking because it is old. I told her that I didn't know but I hadn't checked, hoping it wasn't leaking. I later checked and I noticed it was leaking. FUCK ME!
During mid April, I decided to go to American Tire Depot, since it is only one mile away, on the same street where I live, and fix the leak. It is convenient, and I can walk there if I need to keep my car overnight. They changed some old parts in my engine until the leak was very small. The later added that it appears to be coming from the transmission, but they need to find the right parts. There was also a sudden vibrational issue when I brake, which was probably due to the transmission issue. I went home, researching on the internet.
During the end of May, I decided to call a local AAA-approved auto repair shop, three miles from my neighborhood, to fix the transmission. I dropped off my car there for a week, they called an Uber to drive me home. (It was my first Uber. I felt like I was living in NYC because I have never used a taxi in Southern California, unless I had to go to the airport, mostly LAX).
On June 2nd, my MX-3 was fixed. They called an Uber to pick me up. While waiting outside, I suddenly noticed that the sky was blue and there was bright sunshine, which was the first clear blue sky I have seen for a month because I had been complaining about the recently cloudy white sky, darkening the earth into gloominess. I was actually making fun of this weird weather, although I felt it wasn't natural or normal, if you know what I mean. The sudden weather change was a positive sign! I went there to pay for the repair, before driving my car home. The transmission felt smooth and the drive was good. It was good work.
Life goes on. I now need to work on my to-do checklist, especially for specific tasks.
